It’s hard to believe, but The Heart LA is turning FOUR years old this September! On Sunday, September 7th, we’re throwing a birthday celebration you won’t want to miss. We’ve seen God do incredible things over the past four years, and we believe this is just the beginning. This is more than a party — it’s a moment to worship, connect, and step into what we’re calling our New Season.

The Theme: New Season
This year, our theme comes straight from Jesus’ words in John 4:35: “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”
We believe God is calling The Heart LA into a season of fresh vision, open doors, and bold faith. The past four years have been filled with stories of His goodness, but now He’s inviting us to see beyond the familiar and believe Him for even greater things. Just like Jesus told His disciples to lift their eyes and see the harvest all around them, we sense God saying the same to us — the harvest is plentiful here in Los Angeles, and it’s time to step into the work He has prepared.
When we celebrate our birthday, we’re not just looking back in gratitude — we’re looking forward with expectation. This New Season is about planting seeds of faith, loving our city well, and trusting God to bring in the harvest.
What to Expect
Here’s the inside scoop on what’s happening at our 4th birthday celebration:

- A Timely, Hope-Filled Message – Pastors David and Randall will share a message on our New Season.
- Heart Kids Celebration – While you enjoy the service, your kids (from newborn through elementary) will have their own special birthday party in Heart Kids. Fun activities, engaging Bible teaching, and surprises just for them!
- Food & Parties After Each Service – After worship, stick around for good food, laughter, and connection. This is a celebration for the whole church family, so bring your appetite and your joy!
Bring a Friend (or Two!)
One of the best ways to celebrate is to share it with others. This is the perfect Sunday to invite friends, co-workers, neighbors, or that family member you’ve been meaning to bring to church. You never know — this could be the day God changes their life.
Here’s a simple tip: Send them a quick text or DM that says, “Hey! My church is having a big 4th birthday celebration on September 7th. I’d love for you to come with me — service is at 9:30 or 11, and there’s a party after!” Sometimes that one invitation can make all the difference.
