Generosity is our Lifestyle

We want to lead the way when it comes to generosity. We want to be generous with our times, our talents, and our treasures. We want to be open-handed with everything God has given us. In return, we can receive everything God has in store for us.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

—2 Corinthians 9:7

Your Giving at Work

At the Heart LA, we have a lifestyle of generosity. Because God gave so much to us, we can’t help but be generous with what we have. That’s why we want to be a church that is known for our generosity. Since we launched, we have supported missionaries, local and global nonprofits, and even have poured into other church plants! We believe in building the Kingdom of God and not just our own kingdom. Check out your giving at work!

In Our House

In July of 2021, we signed the lease to take over the old Busby’s on Wilshire Blvd. This amazing location would be the home of Heart LA as we launched on September 12th right in the center of Mid-Wilshire! In two months, we made many repairs and restored what once was used for a nightclub into a bright, clean, and life filled church!

In Our City

We have a partnership with an amazing organization called Oasis Hollywood. Oasis does ministry with children and youth in the Hollywood area. In August, we partnered with Oasis to give out backpacks for kids in need as the school year began. We also support this organization on an ongoing basis as we partner together to reach the city of Los Angeles.

In Our World

On a global level, we support Nicole Fierro as a missionary to France. She is our very first missionary that we are able to support on a monthly basis! We look forward to supporting more missionaries as we grow as a church!

We also support an organization called Project Rescue. Project Rescue does work all over the world, but main in Southeast Asia to stand against Human Trafficking. Their mission is to rescue and restore victims of sexual exploitation through the love and power of God.
