Shoe Giveaway is happening in Los Angeles! We can't wait to give away free shoes and haircuts for our Back to School event at The Heart LA Church! Here are 4 things to know about this event!

We Invite you to our Back to School Event!
You are invited to our Back to School event. Bring your friends and family as we give out free shoes and haircuts to the community. We know that back to school time can be stressful for many parents. So we are here to help! Do you have student-aged children? Bring them for this amazing shoe giveaway at The Heart LA Church.
We want to bless our community and show love to our neighbors. So we are going to give away brand new shoes. We also will be partnering with the salons around us to give out free haircuts! Here are 4 things you need to know about this event!
#1: Shoe Giveaway Taking Place on Saturday, August 3rd.
This event is going to take place on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. We can't wait to see you and your family! We will have multiple stations set up in our church to ensure the line moves at a decent speed.
There will also be a special room for our special needs families and our pregnant mamas. Let our greeters know upon arrival know if fall into either of these categories so we can make sure you go to the correct area.
#2: Arrive early so you can get a free haircut as well!
We are so excited to be partnering with the salons in our area for this event. RVM Twist, Twist and Cutz Barbershop, RVM Cutz, and RVM Salons will be joining us for this event! They have donated their services to provide free haircuts for the chlildren in the community.
#3: The time for this event is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm or until our supplies runs out.
You can begin lining up as early as 9:30 am. The event will take place form 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. However, our supplies is limited and seats for haircuts is limited. Come early so you can be sure to get everything you need.
#4: Shoes and Haircuts will only be provided to school-aged children in attendance.
We are providing shoes and haircuts to all school-aged children. Anyone from preschool through high school can participate at this event. We will have a variety of sizes to make sure every child gets a pair of shoes that is great for them. While supplies lasts, we will also be provided new socks for every child.
Your child must be in attendance to receive any of the services provided! We cannot give shoes to children who are not in attendance. In order to receive a free pair of shoes or a haircut, the child must actually come to the event. Not every child will be able to get a haircut, but we will do our best to give out as many as possible.

We are looking for people to volunteer at this event as well! Want to serve the community? Join our team! Click on the button below to register. There is a training on July 21st right after church at The Heart LA. The training will start around 12:30 pm. (Lunch will be provided). All volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:30 am on Saturday, August 3rd for the main event.
If your family needs shoes and haircuts, we suggest you attend the event instead of serving.
