In the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, Sidney Martin is embarking on an exciting new chapter—one that blends her love for people, passion for coffee, and heart for ministry. A soon-to-be graduate with a BA in Business Administration, Sidney has spent the past few years serving at The Heart LA Church while gaining valuable experience in the coffee industry. Now, God is calling her to take a bold step of faith: to work full-time at The Heart LA Church and open a brand-new coffee shop with a purpose far greater than just serving a good cup of coffee.
Starting in January 2025, Sidney officially began working full-time with The Heart LA, dedicating her time and talents to bring this vision to life. The dream for this coffee shop is rooted deeply in ministry—it’s about creating a space where the unchurched feel welcomed, where relationships are built, and where the youth of tomorrow are empowered. Sidney’s heart beats with the desire to see the church active and alive every day of the week, not just on Sundays. In a city as dynamic and diverse as Los Angeles, she believes the church should be just as accessible, offering a place for conversation, connection, and community throughout the week.
